upcoming Siam specialty coffee…
-
King's Peak - the flagship Typica
Typica varietal is considered rare in Thailand, as it demands the right conditions like minimum altitude, and has a relatively lower yield compared to other varietals. First cultivated by former King Rama IX himself, some say that this is the original Thai specialty arabica coffee. Single Origin from Rai Niya, Doi Lanka, Lampang.
-
Winey & Whiskey coffee, Chiang Rai
2 specialty coffees from microlots in Doi Chang, Chiang Rai. Mixed varietal - Chiang Mai. Complex distinct flavours, exceptional taste profile. Crafted by a group of families devoted to the coffee trade and experimenting with different processes, “Winey” is natural anaerobic fermentation, while “Whiskey” is whiskey barrel aged.
-
Fruity Twin & Nutty Twin
A farmer decided to grow the same Bourbon coffee in different places — Doi Phahompok, Chiang Mai & Ban Huaisan, Chiang Rai. They turned out very different in taste profile, living proof that single origin coffees are unique. Phahompok resembles citrus fruit & herbs while Huaisan is nutty and sweet with a fuller body. Popular among native coffee enthusiasts, capturing the essence of Thai gourmet coffee.
